On Friday, Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stays with a working visit in Dnipropetrovsk region.
Having met the personnel of the State enterprise "Production union "O.M. Makarov South Machine-Building Plant" and M.K. Yangel Pivdenne State Design Bureau, A.Yatseniuk underscored that global and domestic economic crises would bear negative influence upon the two most powerful industrial regions: Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk, as the enterprises of metallurgical, construction and chemical industries were located there.
He stated that the Parliament passed a resolution concerning "access to the resources of international financial organizations and balancing of particular budgetary indices". "The main matter of concern is to secure economic stability. The point is that not only economic growth, but also economic life should not come to suspension", - stressed the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine commented on the problems of the South Machine-Building Plant, and remarked that the program of space sector development had been recently adopted.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine announced that he would bring forward the Bill concerning extension of the Law on Promotion of Space Sector Development, as the effect of the said legislative act would be terminated on 1 January 2009.
A.Yatseniuk also stated that "aerospace sector should be the first branch to be supported at the expanse of the stabilization fund".
